Coral Vine
One of my most favourite plants in my garden is the Coral Vine (Antigonon leptopus). It is interesting to note that its Malay name is Air Mata Pengantin which translates to The Bride’s Tears. This fast growing creeper has small heart shaped pink flowers. The flowers are abundant and bloom year round. A must have if you’re looking for an easy to care for and fast growing creeper.

The plant can grow up to 25 meters and attracts bees. This plant requires a climbing structure or it will very quickly climb over any of the plants that surround it.
Use it to Hide Unwanted Features
The Coral Vine can be used to hide unwanted features like in the case of my garden, a sewage pipe running from the upstairs bathroom right down to the ground and in the most unwanted place; next to the front door. This creeper has managed to divert attention away because and the pipe is now hidden in plain sight. You’re probably now looking back to the picture to find the pipe ;)
