Amina Hussin is a photographer, self-taught painter and sculptor. Her works include acrylic, oil, mixed media on canvas, mosaic art and sculptures. She has a keen interest in recycling and upcycling where she uses waste to transform what would be trash into art.

She seeks to bring art to the visually impaired and is incorporating texture into her art pieces so that it may be enjoyed by all.

She hopes to keep making art and spreading joy and knowledge through it.

  • “Don’t think about making art, just get it done. Let everyone else decide if it’s good or bad, whether they love it or hate it. While they are deciding, make even more art.”

Painted cabinets of a landscape scene in Paper Seed Art Studio

Positive

The cabinets were painted using acrylic paint. No prep was required as the cabinets were already painted with Matt wood paint.

This piece is called Positive because it was painted during the Covid Pandemic when we tested positive for covid. When you can’t go outside, bring the outside, in.
